A Day in the Mountains

I know it's been a while since I updated my Blogs! So I'm catching up today!

A few weeks ago I took the kids for a 45 minute drive up to the mountains for a picnic and hiking and to let our dog Thor run around.

Coin and Stamp Collecting

We went to an interesting and fun presentation about coin and stamp collecting given by brother Ashcroft from church. The kids were especially excited when he gave them a bunch of souvenirs!

Sunday afternoon I caught Allie outside in her dress, wearing boots and eating a green onion from the garden!

Here she is running back to the garden for MORE green onions!!!

Kristy returns Home

On April 2, We all went to Albuquerque to pick Kristy up from the airport! The kids were so excited (we were all excited)! It took Kristy about 18 hours to fly home!!! What a great blessing to have a missionary come home safely! I am so thankful for her and her faithfulness and great example to my kids!!!

Playing in the March snow!

Yesterday afternoon it got really cold and stormy and all of the sudden Jared yells, "It's Snowing" and it kept snowing all afternoon! When Parker and Jeff got home from school, all the boys and Jared went outside in the 20 degree bitter cold air and threw snowballs at each other and cleaned 2 inches of snow and ice off the van! We drank lots of hot cocoa and Jared defrosted his frozen hands with my hair dryer!!!! You never know what kind of weather to expect here!!!!

Happy 90th Birthday Oma!

I am so grateful that I was able to go and take the kids with me to Oma's 90th birthday party! John was sorry he couldn't make it and wished he could come with us! We had so much fun with everyone and love the life story book that Oma gave us! Oma We Love You!!!!!

Happy 12th Anniversary!

John and I just celebrated our 12th Wedding Anniversary! Sorry ladies, But I did marry the best guy in the whole wide world!!!!!!!

Two Little Cousins

We had so much fun when my niece, Haley came over this afternoon! Haley and Sam watched "Beauty and the Beast" on the portable DVD player and then after that, all the kids got the watercolors out and painted together with Auntie Stacey for what seemed like hours! What a great afternoon!

Basketball Season comes to an End

Parker and Jeff both had their last basketball games this weekend! We really loved the league and loved watching the boys play! So now that the season is over, and our time is a little more free, I think we'll do some traveling and also ride dirtbikes more for fun and to get ready for the boys summer races!!

We woke up to a most Blustery, Cloudy, Sprinkling, Dark morning. Isn't it so fun! I just want to curl up with my new HP Mini (laptop) and look at Blogs all day!!!!HaHa! Actually I think I would rather read with the kids all day,since we just went to the Children's Library yesterday and checked out lots of FUN Books!!!!
