"Kaffy" or "Caffeine"?

The first day we brought Katherine home, I noticed that Sam kept calling the baby "Kaffy". When Jeff heard

this, he shouted with great disqust, " Sam! her name is NOT CAFFIENE!!!" Sam then giggled and replied, "OHHHH, I just kept hearing Allie call her Kaffy and I thought that was her nickname! "

Uncle Guy home from his mission

At the beginning of July, Guy was still on his mission with just a few weeks left. He wrote to John and said to tell me to not have the baby until he got home. He really wanted to be here when the baby was born and to take care of the kids while John and I were in the hospital. Well he got his wish! Just 1 week after Guy got home, Katherine was born. We are so happy to have him home and are so happy for his great example to our kids for going on his mission and serving the Lord.

Baby Cousins

Shannon's baby boy Ethan was born just 2 1/2 weeks before Katherine was. It is so fun to have cousins born so close together.
